Day
01 : Arrival Delhi
Arrive Delhi Welcome to Delhi, the capital of
India. Upon arrival at the Indira Gandhi International
Airport you will be greeted in traditional Indian
style by our representative who will transfer
you to the hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing
After a healthy breakfast you will be taken
for combined tour of Old & New Delhi.
Sightseeing of Old Delhi includes visit to
Jama Masjid, the splendid mosque built by
king Shah Jahan, where thousands of Muslims
offer prayers. Another sight is Red Fort –
an important symbolic monument built of red
sandstone and Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma
Gandhi who was cremated at the very same spot.
Later you will enjoy a rickshaw ride at Chandni
Chowk - one of the oldest and busiest markets
in North Delhi.
New Delhi holds attractions
like the Qutab Minar which is considered as
the best example for Indo-Islamic architecture,
as well as Emperor Humayun's tomb which presents
the Mughal architecture at its best. In the
evening drive past India Gate & Rashtrapati
Bhavan (Presidential Palace), the official
residence of the President of India. Later
you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight

Day
03 : Delhi - Agra
Today you
will be leaving Delhi for Agra. During the 4h
/ 204km journey you will be able to see and
enjoy the beautiful countryside. Upon arrival
check into your pre-booked hotel. After freshening
up enjoy city tour of Agra. Visit Taj Mahal
– a tribute to love & immeasurable
beauty, and one of the wonders of the world.

Day
04 : In Agra
The morning starts with
the visit to imposing Red Fort of Agra. Built
of red sandstone and marble it is a part of
clusters of mosques and palaces on the banks
of the river Jamuna. Afternoon visit Itmad-Ud-Daullah's
tomb. Less visited but much admired, it bears
striking mosaics inlaid with sparkling stones.
In the evening explore Agra on your own, shop
or relax at your hotel's poolside. Overnight

Day
05 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (223
kms / 5 hrs)
Now it’s
the time to drive to Jaipur, the capital city
of Rajasthan. Enroute stop at Fatehpur Sikri,
the former capital of the Mughal empire built
by emperor Akbar the Great beginning in 1570,
now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once reached
in Jaipur one can enjoy Rajasthani folk dance
with the local cuisine as per the taste &
interest. Overnight stay in Jaipur. |
Day
06 : Jaipur sightseeing
Start your
day with an excursion to Amber Fort built of
red sandstone & white marble. Here you will
get the chance to enjoy an elephant ride. Imagine
yourself as the king & ascend the fort on
an elephant’s back. Later visit Jaigarh
Fort, the most spectacular fort which houses
the world’s largest cannon. In the afternoon
enjoy the city tour which includes a visit to
Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) which still speaks
the traditions of royal families, as well as
the Jantar Mantar Observatory – another
UNESCO World Heritage Site. Literally translated
'calculation instrument', Jantar Mantar is a
collection of architectural astronomical instruments
built by Maharaja Jai Singh II between 1727
and 1734.Finally the City Palace Museum - displaying
a huge collection of paintings, weapons, textiles
& priceless handwritten Hindu scriptures.

Day
07 : Jaipur - Delhi (257kms / 05 hrs)
In the morning after breakfast
visit Gwalior Fort situated on rocky sandstone.
The fort was built by different rulers during
different periods. The fort hosts Teli ka Mandir,
a Shahastra Bahu temple of Vishnu. Also visit
Lashkar Jai Vilas Palace & Museum, a palace
of royal Scindia family which has been partly
converted into a museum. Later drive to Orchha,
a small hamlet on the bank of the river Betwa.
