1 Arrival Delhi
Warm welcome with fresh flower garlands, your
room is available for immediate occupancy. |

2 Delhi - Ranthambore
Travel by train to Ranthambore - famous for the
wildlife sanctuary, the Ranthambore National Park
is said to have India’s friendliest tigers
& considered to be the best place in the world
to photograph the tiger in its natural habitat.

3 In Ranthambore
On morning & late afternoon game excursions,
you are likely to see Nilgai (blue bull), Muntjac
also known as the Barking Deer, Sloth bear &
perhaps the very elusive Royal Bengal tiger.

4 In Ranthambore
Today you may wish to go for game excursions in
the park or you can go for a sightseeing tour
of Ranthambore Fort & Mansarovar Lake. Overnight

5 Ranthambore - Bharatpur
Travel to Bharatpur, home to an astonishing
range of flora & fauna. An abundance of
birdlife is found here, including the Openbill
& Painted stork, egret, darter, White ibis,
Spoonbill, Grey Heron, Sarus crane, cormorant,
migratory geese, duck, rosy pelican & the
rare Siberian crane. Overnight stay at the hotel.

6 In Bharatpur
Have a completely rewarding experience of seeing
an overwhelming range of birds during the rickshaw
ride into the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Evening
rickshaw ride in the local market of the city.

7 Bharatpur - Agra
Journey to the city of Taj Mahal, Agra. Enroute
visit the evocative city of Fatehpur Sikri,
built by emperor Akbar as his capital &
palace in the late 16th century, it is a veritable
fairytale city built of red sandstone, and its
« ruins » are in pristine condition.
Post lunch we explore the imposing Agra Fort.
Built of red sandstone & marble is a hilltop
citadel with fabulous courtyards, fountains
and gates.Evening visit to the fabled perfectly
proportioned Taj Mahal at sunset. This 17th
century, white marble mausoleum was built by
emperor Shah Jahan to enshrine the mortal remains
of his queen Mumtaz Mahal. Overnight stay at

8 Agra - Jhansi - Orchha – Khajuraho
In the morning we travel by train to Jhansi,
where we disembark & visit the fortified
town of Orchha and continue our drive to Khajuraho;
the legendary Temples of Khajuraho built in
the 9th & 10th century are an incomparable
experience. Acknowledged as one of the world’s
artistic wonders, Khajuraho has achieved fame
for the sensual appeal of its erotic sculptures.

9 In Khajuraho
Early morning game drive in Panna Tiger Reserve.
Later we visit the exquisite eastern & western
group temples of Khajuraho. In the evening witness
the “Sound & Light Show” in
the western group temples. Overnight stay at

10 Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh
A drive today takes us to Bandhavgarh National
Park, is a premier wildlife preserve in the
Vindhya mountain range of Central India. This
National Park offers excellent game viewing,
with the possibility of sighting tiger, leopard,
gaur, nilgai, wild boar and Sloth bear. Overnight
stay at the hotel. |

13 Bandhavgarh - Kanha
Drive to Kanha National Park, a «Project
Tiger» reserve which covers a wide area
of valley & thick forest, rich in birdlife
with over 300 different species. It is famous
for Barasingha (Swamp deer), blackbuck, jackals,
langur, leopard and especially, tiger. Overnight
stay at the hotel. |

14 In Kanha
Morning and evening jungle visits for tiger tracking,
nature watch or birdwatching. Overnight stay at the

Morning and evening jungle visits for tiger tracking,

16 Kanha – Nagpur
We travel by road to Nagpur.
Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at the
hotel.

17 Nagpur - Delhi
Back in Delhi, the Indian Wildlife Tour will conclude
with a farewell dinner at a popular Delhi restaurant
followed by an Indian classical dance program. Later
check-out and transfer to the airport to board your
homebound flight or connect to your onward destination.
